Other UFO-related Works
- The Psychology of Dreamland. I wrote this for publication but, after getting rejection slips from several mainstream publications, decided to publish it on the web where it has been widely read and cross-posted. I have received much positive feedback from readers all over the world, and still get mail about it now and then, more than five years after I wrote it.
- The Unspeakable Lightness of Boeing. Another
article
I wrote in 1998 that proved to be equally unpalatable to the mainstream
press. It's about black-budget aircraft and anti-gravity.
- Revolution
2.0. A
science-fiction novel about a popular, non-violent uprising against the
U.S. government, set 'in the not-too-distant future.' Admittedly, UFOs
play a minor role in this work, but I couldn't resist giving it a plug.
You can read it online for free.
- No time to read my book? Well, the folks at Lost Arts Media have produced a number of my public talks on DVD and VHS tape. My personal favorite is the talk I gave at NUFOC 2004 in Los Angeles. Order the title UFOs, National Security, and the News Media.
- An op-ed piece about the UFO cover-up: Now you see 'em, now you don't.
- The Paradigm Police. If a flying saucer landed on the White House lawn, would the American news media report it?
- In 1980, National Public Radio (NPR) broadcast my one-hour radio documentary, The UFO Controversy: Anatomy of a Scientific Revolution. The program, based on interviews with leading UFO researchers, was first aired on KUOM radio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A copy is on file at the Library of Congress.
- In 1994 and 1995, Terry Hansen organized two symposiums for the Science Museum of Minnesota titled, "The Science and Politics of UFO Research." Unfortunately, the symposiums were not recorded or videotaped, however.
- Here's
a video of my talk at the 2005 Xcon via Google Video. (Be patient,
it takes a few moments for this one to cue up.) This is not one of my
best talks due to some slide problems and a few minor flubs, but it
will do for now....
In 2002, The Missing Times was awarded "Best Book In a UFO Subject" by Britain's UFO Magazine.
